BRAVON Hi-Fi Loose Pigment Shadows Review, Photos and Swatches

Hi Beauties,
I know it has been a while. Cancer took more out of me than I expected. But hopefully I am back to blogging more regularly now! And what perfect timing. Just in time for the launch of  BRAVON!
I was lucky enough to be chosen as a tester for the brand. And I feel so very honored to help my dear friend kick off his brand, oh how amazing it is! I have been testing products since early Fall. I tried many formulations, but it wasn't ok with Bravon until the testers came back with 5 star ratings for each product.
Bravon has been in the industry for decades, As such, he has worked with all skin tones and skin types so creating formulas that work for all skin tones/types was a priority for him. He has dedicated so much time into creating this brand and I along with the other testers agree that this will be a new addiction for millions of us!
When he started sending me finished products, I found myself wanting or shall I say needing MORE! Which was almost an odd feeling since I had lost my passion for collecting makeup for various brands. A few brands changed formulas and well that was the end of that. But BRAVON is fresh, new, full of color and pigment! What more can you want as a makeup artist? Whether you do it professionally, wear it on special occasions or an every day personal artist on yourself, this brand will absolutely cover all your needs! The brand will be released in phases, with color being first. This will include Eye primer, pressed eyeshadows, Blushes, Loose eyeshadows, Mascara, Eyeliners, Lipliners, Lipgloss, Lipstick, Bullet Balm Lip Shimmer and HD Vinyl Liquid Lipstick. In upcoming phases of the brand, Bravon will bring us everything else we need to do a complete face with BRAVON! This is including but not limited to Brushes, Face Primer, Foundation, Skin care and everything else we need to look BRAMAZING!
So, I am happy to introduce you to BRAVON: Artistry Activated Cosmetics! Today I am reviewing the HI-FI Loose Pigment Shadows in 9 shades. Please take note that the shades are very highly pigmented so a little goes a long way.

Snowflake is a pure white sheen
Pegasus is a soft pink sheer shimmer
Shooting Star is a light pink shimmer
Lilac Breeze is a light purple base with iridescent lilac shimmer
Sunset is a medium coral shimmer
Virgo is a medium brown base with twinkles in lilac and white
Spring Bloom is a medium pink shimmer
Nightfall is a navy blue base with a medium blue sheen
Midnight is a deep charcoal grey flirting with black shade

                 Snowflake, Pegasus, Shooting Star

Lilac Breeze, Sunset, Virgo

Spring Bloom, Nightfall, Midnight

BRAVON Artisry Activated Cosmetics are unbelievably reasonably priced for quality, prestige cosmetics! I still have to keep some details from the brand undercover until the website launches. Until then, you can follow the brand BRAVON on Facebook for new updates and contest! The products will be sold on Bravon's website  starting March 18, 2015!
I just want to take a moment to Congratulate & Thank Bravon Pascua for creating such a fantastic brand and of course my new LOVE! I will also like to thank Bravon for the very lightly scented to no scent products. Chemotherapy has left my skin very sensitive and has left me scent sensitive so I have to be careful with certain brands because of this. So thank you Bravon! I can not wait for the world to experience your masterpiece!

Love & Sparkles,
Jess

PS All swatches were done on bare skin, not primed skin. So you can just imagine how vivid these shades are!

ZOYA Earth Day 2013 Polish Exchange

Hi Beauties,
It's time for Zoya's Earth Day Polish Exchange! Zoya will exchange any brand polish for a brand new Zoya polish and each bottle will only cost you $4.  How awesome is that? Here's how it works.
Go to Zoya's website  and choose at least 6 bottles of polish, no more than 24 bottles per person. Salon accounts can order a minimum of 12 max 48 bottles. Sorry this excludes all Zoya PixieDust Collection shades.
Enter the promo code ZOYAEARTH2013  in the promo code box on the lower left side of your cart. Your total will reflect a 50% discount. then submit your order. Once you have your new polishes, send Zoya your unwanted bottles of polish. They will dispose of them properly. They request you send back the same amount you purchase. So if you purchased 6 bottles they expect 6 bottles back. The only rule is that you can not send back Zoya polishes.
Ship Your Old Nail Polish To:

BareMinerals Jack Of All Trades One And Only, True Love, At First Sight Review and Swatches

Hi Beauties,
Here's a review for the Jack Of All Trades Trio. These were given to me. The shades are sheer but you can build them up. The swatches I did below are heavily applied so you can see the shade. One and Only is a sheer medium orange, True Love is a sheer medium pink and At First Sight is a light/medium purple-ish berry. They don't last long. I have to reapply after about an hour. They do glide on really smooth and they have a slight tingle. The scent is really light but it kind of reminds me of the BE Spray Brush Cleaner. Not as strong but a really light version of it which fades in about 10 minutes. I like how it keeps my lips smooth for the time it's on them.

This Trio Set will be available on QVC during Leslie's last shows.

BareMinerals Sugar Rush Hydrating Eyecolor Collection Review and Swatches

Hi Beauties,
These were sent to me by a friend.
I'm so excited about this one! It is the first all loose mineral kit from BE this year with all new eye shadows! The colors are cool shades. Vanilla Shake is a white shimmer, Lemon Freeze is a light yellow sheen but if buffed a lot it tends to lean to a pinkish sheen. Peach Sorbet is a light peach sheen leaning to a shimmer, Iced Caramel is a milk chocolate copper sheen and Berry Chill is a burgundy sheen. I don't have the bag it came in so I can't write about that :/
The shadow consistency is thick like a smoother version of the High Shines but these colors are NOT shimmery like the High Shines. They blend really nice and are high in pigment so you won't need to layer these. I really like this set.

You can purchase these at QVC for $34.78 during Leslie's last QVC shows.

 Jess

Kat Von D Starstruck Palette Review and Swatches

Hello Beauties,
I am so excited about all the new Kat Von D makeup. This palette I am reviewing today is just so beautiful. I know the red is scary to most but it is such a gorgeous blendable shade. It looks amazing on.
This palette is another in the 4 shadow palette world for Kat. I will be reviewing the other 2 palettes this weekend for you. This palette reminds me of a golden sunset which is probably why I enjoy it so much. I love sunsets! Fallen is a warm shimmery bronze, Unrequited is a light gold shimmer, Pagan Poetry is a chocolate with gold shimmer and Hermit is a light berry wine shade.
I posted a pic below of me wearing it after the swatches so you can see just how gorgeous it is.

Starstruck can be purchased by clicking here or visiting your nearest Sephora Store!

Urban Decay The Vice Palette Review, Photos and Swatches

Hello Beauties!

Today I bring to you Urban Decay The Vice Palette. I picked it up yesterday at the pre-launch party at Sephora Times Square. I'm so excited to bring this to you and most importantly to be blogging again!
This palette has 20 amazingly gorgeous shades. My favorites are Chaos a cobalt blue, Occupy a sparkle filled bluish green, Desperation a medium grey, Rapture a lilac shimmer with a blackened undertone, Vice a rich purple and Armor a sparkle filled steel grey. The colors in this palette are gorgeous and this new revamped formula is just yummy!!! They feel much creamier. The shades in this palette are very pigmented. I find that just a dab of the brush in the shadow goes a long way. They go on smooth & silky. I am so into this palette! I love that it has the right amount of play eyeshadows as well as everyday eyeshadows so it covers all your eyeshadow look/needs ;)
The case is very different from other Urban Decay palettes. It is a push button to open case and the lid opens slowly to reveal the beautiful shades. It has a full mirror on the lid and on the top side it has a crystal UD. It's just a piece of art!
OK enough talk, let me show you the photos of this beauty!

The cushion to protect the faux crystal UD.

This palette is part of Urban Decay's Holiday Limited Edition release. The cost of the palette is $59 and you can purchase it by clicking here!

Love & Sparkles,
 Jess

PS I am so happy to be blogging again! Big thanks to my FRIENDS that made this possible! I love you all!!!
