I created a fairly simple smoky eye look using the Buxom Smoky Eye Sticks in Ice Pick, Smokin' Pistol and the bareMinerals Foiled Eye Tutorials Kit.
I always get asked if I do makeup on both my eyes cause I only photograph one. Silly question but YES I do makeup on both! I just photograph one because since it is a tutorial, I want to show as much detail as possible. Keeping the focus on one eye allows for more detail to show! So without further adieu, here is what you'll need!
bareMinerals Foiled Eye Tutorial, Buxom Smoky Eye Sticks in Smokin Pistol & Ice Pick, PrimeTime Eyelid Primer, Crease Defining Brush, and the mascara of your choice!
Here is the finished look
Follow these simple steps to complete this look. I included photos along the way so you can see how to build up this look!
Begin by applying eyelid primer from lash to brow bone. Then take Ice Pick & apply it to your ring finger tip & smudge over eyelid till you reach the outer edge of the iris of your eye.
Now clean off your ring finger, apply Smokin Pistol to the tip of your ring finger & apply from outer corner to the outer edge of the iris. it should just about meet with Ice Pick.
I used the Crease Defining Brush from the Pearl kit, thats why the tip it white ;)
Now, swirl, tap & buff Disco over Ice Pick & from crease to brow. NOT over Smokin Pistol.
Your eye makup should look like this so far ;)
Using the Foil Brush from the Foiled Kit, you will apply Night Owl over Smokin Pistol and brush into the crease to define your eye.
Using the Fuse end of the brush in the Foiled eye kit, you will swirl it in Disco and apply along lower lashline.
Sharpen the point of Smokin Pistol and apply as liner along upper lash line from the inner corner & making it slightly thicker once you reach the outer 1/3 of the lid. Also apply Smokin Pistol in the waterline from inner corner of eye to outer corner of eye and along lower lashline from outer corner to just about the center of the lower lash line.
Color in your brows & add tons of black mascara for a dramatic look.
