Bare Escentuals Extreme Glimmers #3

Hi Beauties,
 As you may already know, I am a huge fan of Extreme Glimmers! I wish BE would come out with these more often. The new shades are the mega glimmer versions of Vanilla Sugar, Moss & Soul Sister. Unlike the first & second versions, these are shades that already exist in the BE line. I was super excited when I heard Soul Sister cause I thought it would look amazing with Extreme Plum! I will be wearing this tomorrow with Queen Marie & Hugs.
 I know a lot of people stray from the Extremes because of the glimmer & because of the fall out. I've worn Extremes since they were released. If you use a tight brush with a small head like a Tapered Shadow Brush, Mini Maximum Concealer Brush or the double ended Heal & Conceal brush you should not have a problem. Instead of Swirl, Tap & Buff, what you want to do is press the minerals into the brush with a back & forth motion on the lid, tap, press some more, tap then gently glide onto the lid. This has minimal fall out & maximum glimmer results!
 During Leslie's last visit at the Q she said you can mix the Extremes with eye primer to make a paste & apply it on to the lid. I tried this & it seems to be super chunky & it mattifies the sparkle of the Extremes. So its not for me but it may work for others.

Bare Escentuals Good Morning Gorgeous

 This review is so over due! I've had this kit in my hands a few weeks & every time I wear it, I fall in love. Its such an amazing array of colors. You have greens, browns, pink, blue, white....you are pretty much covered with all shades! The only down fall to me is that they are mini's & I would have loved to own these in full size.
 The box is Tiffany blue with the names of the days of the week written all over it. It comes with an insert, not a tip card on how to wear it, but more of a "how to spice up the day with color" tip ;)
The box has a magnetic closure on the inside of the box & a cute light blue ribbon so you can pull the draw open. The set up on the inside begins with Monday & ends with Sunday.
  The colors are beautiful. Monday is a light-medium blue with a lot of blue twinkles. Tuesday is a shimmer of a soft hot pink. Wednesday is a metallic khaki lime green.Thursday is a deep chocolate base sheen with a gold/green metallic shimmer. It has an amazing color shift to it. Friday is a midnight blue base with a shimmer of deep blue & emerald green. Saturday is a purest soft pink sheen base with diamond twinkles. Sunday is a matte mauve/clay.
 I love this whole set but Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday won my heart! You don't want this collection you need it ;) So here you are, pics of this most amazing collection!

Buxom Swinger Girls

Hi Beauties,
 I picked up the new Buxom Swinger Girls at my local boutique last week & I wanted to share them with you! I really like this set. First in a really long time that has 4 brand new colors so that's a plus! I have fallen in love with Lauren & Marissa. Marissa is a mauve & Lauren well she is pink with iridescent purple sheen & purple twinkles. Just gorgeous!  I really like pinks and these two are just the prettiest pink Buxom ever!! My least favorite is Heather because it is very pale although the sparkle factor in it is beautiful. Emily is a light milk chocolate, I like how it looks in the tube but it when I apply it, it looks much better. I would definitely recommend this set especially for the Spring/Summer time.
